Robust Details

An alternative means of complying with Part E in certain circumstances, Robust Details (RD's) are constructions that have been assessed and approved by Robust Details LTD to consistently exceed the performance requirements of Part E. They will be accepted by Building Control bodies in England and Wales that the properties are exempt from PCT, as long as the Robust Details constructions have been built correctly.

RD approved constructions apply to new build homes and apartments only.
