About InstaCoustic Sports Flooring Systems

InstaCoustic has been producing high performance multi-purpose sports flooring since 1995. These versatile, impact energy absorbing, sub-floor systems are suitable for all indoor sports and leisure applications and, when combined with most proprietary sports surfaces, the finished floor is fully compliant with BS EN 14904 and BS 7044: Part 4 the current standards for ‘Indoor Sports Flooring’.

A combisport system, the InstaCoustic sprung sub floor comprises special rubber crumb cradles manufactured from recycled tyre products, treated timber battens and plywood overlay boards, combined with a vinyl or hardwood wear layer and shock absorption surface treatment. Together they produce either an Area Elastic (Type A) of Combined Elastic (Type C) sports floor. This resilient, high standard, impact energy absorption system complies with the requirement of BS EN 14904 and BS 7044: Part 4 as well as the strict criteria stipulated by many sports governing bodies, such as Sports England. The systems are also designed to withstand the loadings from users and equipment as defined in BS 6399: Part 1

Benefits

Applications

InstaCoustic works closely with major vinyl and hardwood flooring manufacturers and approved installers to provide clients with fully compliant sports floors backed by a comprehensive service.

Its sports floors can be tuned to receive various proprietary sports surfaces, including vinyl and hardwoods, by altering the resilience and damping factor of the supporting cradles and battens.
