Sports Flooring Systems
Specification standards for multi-use sports floors
The requirements of BS EN 14904 and BS 7044: Part 4, for indoor surfaces for multi-sports use,
apply to the complete surface i.e. both the finished layer and the sub-floor.
InstaCoustic sports floors comply with, and exceed, both standards. They are impact energy
absorbing and suitable for a wide range of sports (e.g. basketball, football, handball, hockey,
netball, tennis) as well as non-sporting activities (e.g. use as an exam hall or for community
activities).
They have been comprehensively tested against British and European Standards and copies of the
appropriate certification are available on request.
