InstaCoustic has recently gained accreditation to Level 5, the highest available, from Achilles Building Confidence, the online registration and accreditation standard. Launched in 2007 in collaboration with Lend Lease, it is designed to meet the increasingly demanding legislative and risk management needs of construction companies and to drive industry best practice.
Achilles accreditation to Level 5 was a condition of the Lend Lease contract for phase one of the £1.5bn Trafalgar Place project to regenerate Elephant & Castle in London. It required InstaCoustic to undertake a rigorous and robust submission of wide ranging company information for detailed examination, including on site operating processes and environmental sustainability principles.
This was followed by a thorough two day audit of InstaCoustic’s submission after which accreditation was granted accreditation without any corrective action required. Annual reviews will be conducted.
Group Operations Director, John Reed, said, “It is a testament to our commitment to offer a highly professional service. We can clearly demonstrate our full understanding of all the issues involved in providing a safe, qualified, dedicated and reliable workforce that is able to install acoustic flooring and underfloor heating to a specified schedule and budget.”
As a result of its accreditation InstaCoustic has already received further enquiries from other companies who are Achilles subscribers.
